  Following its acquisition of the high-end Pilates brand Reform RX, iFIT recently launched the NordicTrack Ultra Reformer series, officially entering the Pilates market as a "smart reformer." This marks NordicTrack's first foray into fully functional smart Pilates beds and is seen as a significant milestone in iFIT's efforts to build a diverse training ecosystem.

  With the rise of strength training and low-impact training, Pilates has become the fastest-growing training sub-segment globally. iFIT's decision to launch a full line of Pilates products at this time signifies its accelerated transformation from a cardio equipment supplier to a "full-scenario smart training platform." 01|From Reform RX to Ultra Series: iFIT's Pilates Strategy Fully Implemented In early 2025, iFIT acquired Reform RX-a British brand renowned for its "high-end smart Pilates beds."

  This deal gives iFIT access to key technologies and content in the Pilates field, including: the Connected Reformer System, digital resistance control technology, Pilates curriculum and training system, commercial-grade design language and industrial structure, and Ultra Reformer, which is a further extension of the Reform RX technology roadmap and product philosophy. iFIT CEO Kevin Duffy stated, "We are bringing the boutique Pilates studio experience into homes and providing smarter training solutions for commercial venues. Every training session feels like a one-on-one exclusive class-more precise, more personalized, and more accessible."

  The newly released Ultra series, covering home, light commercial, and heavy commercial scenarios, includes three product lines to meet diverse market demands:

■ Ultra 1 Reform RX-S (Commercial Flagship): Designed for large gyms, professional Pilates studios, and training centers, supporting intelligent self-service modes and instructor-led classes. Equipped with a more robust structure and highly durable components, it boasts stronger connectivity and a longer training lifespan.

■ Ultra 1 Reformer (Light Commercial & High-End Home): Designed for home gyms, high-end residential clubs, boutique hotels, and private training studios, offering maple/walnut high-end finishes and emphasizing the integration of training experience with the space.

■ Model S (Home Version): Lightweight structure with simplified functions while retaining core intelligent features, positioned for greater affordability and ease of installation and storage.

  Key Technological Highlights: The Ultra Reformer series of Pilates beds represents a significant leap forward in technology, moving towards "intelligence, safety, and personalization."

Core highlights include:

① Smart Spine: This technology, derived from the core capabilities of Reform RX, replaces the traditional Pilates spring system. Its enclosed resistance structure enhances safety, and real-time resistance values are displayed. Instructors can precisely set resistance remotely or during classes, reducing training errors and improving replicability. Users can even perform some training movements on top of the Smart Spine, giving the equipment greater functional versatility.

② Infinity Footbar – 28 Adjustable Positions: Traditional Pilates beds only offer a limited range of foot pedal adjustments. Ultra significantly improves adaptability with 28 positions, meeting the needs of different heights, different movement requirements, and different training systems (Pilates, rehabilitation, strength training, etc.).

③ Four-Corner Ergonomic Handles: Handles are located at all four corners, making training postures more flexible, more stable, easier for beginners, and safer.

④ 21.5-inch High-Definition Touchscreen + 300+ Lessons: Over 300 built-in lessons created by the iFIT Pilates team, including: beginner Pilates, classic Pilates, strength training, training for the golden age, rehabilitation training, and specialized training (such as runner strengthening and posture correction).

⑤ Biometric Tracking: The device has built-in multi-dimensional tracking capabilities: heart rate, power output, calories, and training quality. It also supports synchronization with third-party wearable devices such as WHOOP and POLAR, forming a complete training ecosystem.

⑥ Multi-screen casting and content extension (Casting): Supports Bluetooth, cross-screen, and mobile device applications, allowing training to be displayed simultaneously on TVs, tablets, or phones. After training, the app provides: data summary, technical scoring, progress tracking, and community interaction. This is one of iFIT's key advantages in connected training, giving it a long-standing lead over Technogym and Peloton.

  iFIT's "fitness content ecosystem" is further expanding: Deep collaboration with Ergatta and Samsung Health. Since 2025, iFIT has significantly strengthened its digital content coverage:

■ Collaboration with Ergatta to introduce gamified rowing training into iFIT products; integration of Tour de France digital content to address NordicTrack's technological shortcomings in interactive experience;

■ Collaboration with Samsung Health: Galaxy users can directly access iFIT content through Samsung Health, opening up more smartphone traffic entry points and creating a mobile touchpoint advantage that Peloton and Les Mills cannot match. This means that iFIT has transformed from a fitness equipment brand into a "global training content and equipment ecosystem platform."
