Daily Cleaning (Once a Week)
Always disconnect the power first to avoid electric shock. Use a dry towel to wipe off sweat stains and dust from the treadmill belt surface-this prevents slipping caused by long-term accumulation. Next, wipe high-touch areas like the handrails and display screen with a damp cloth (wring out excess water), making sure to avoid button gaps to prevent liquid from seeping into the machine and damaging the circuit. Finally, use a vacuum cleaner to remove hair and debris under the treadmill belt, which prevents impurities from jamming the rollers and affecting smooth operation.
Belt Lubrication (Every 3 Months/50 Kilometers)
Use special silicone oil-never substitute with cooking oil, as this will accelerate belt aging. Disconnect the power, lift the edge of the treadmill belt, and evenly drop 3-5 drops of silicone oil onto the contact surface between the running board and the belt. After that, turn on the machine and let it run empty for 3 minutes to distribute the oil evenly. This reduces friction between the belt and the board, avoiding abnormal noises and excessive wear.
Part Inspection (Once a Month)
Check if the treadmill belt is misaligned-if the distance between the belt edge and the machine body is uneven, adjust the side adjustment screws with an Allen wrench (tighten clockwise, loosen counterclockwise). At the same time, inspect the connecting screws of the handrails and base; tighten any loose screws with a wrench to prevent the machine from shaking during use and ensure exercise safety.
Motor Maintenance (Once Every 6 Months)
Disconnect the power and open the motor cover. Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dust from the motor-do not wash it with water, as this may cause a short circuit. If you smell a burning odor from the motor or feel it overheating (exceeding 40°C) during use, stop using it immediately and contact a professional for repairs to avoid motor burnout.
Display Screen Care: Avoid scratching the screen with hard objects like nails or keys during daily use. For cleaning, use a special wet wipe for electronic screens and wipe gently to prevent scratches. Keep the screen away from direct sunlight to slow down the aging of the backlight layer and extend the duration of clear display.
Storage When Not in Use: If the treadmill will not be used for a long time (over 1 month), disconnect the power first, fold it (for foldable models)-make sure the latches are securely fastened-and cover it with a dust cover. Manually loosen the treadmill belt adjustment screws to prevent the belt from deforming due to long-term tension. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated corner, away from humid areas like bathrooms and balconies, to prevent rusting of metal parts.
